How is it possible five years have passed
since that beautiful baby boy joined us at last?

The eight months inside me were brutal at best
but once he was out I forgot all the rest

Always so happy, a smile on his face,

from the time he could walk he was running a race

He begs for tomatoes but won't go near pop
He's one of a kind with that swirl in his mop

With his dad's sense of humor and all his mom's fear
he's our little Payson, it's perfectly clear

A bright ray of sunshine, he fills us with joy,
