It's All In My Head

So I had the MRI today. Obviously I have nothing to report yet. It was pretty much what I expected: Lay completely still for a half an hour with my head enclosed in this cage-like contraption. The loud hums and thumps of the machine lulled me to sleep (it doesn't take much to lull me to sleep), and this was a problem. When I start to fall asleep, I twitch. Bad. I woke myself up three times with a major twitch, but mostly it was my legs, so I think it was alright. The tech said I "did great" when I was done, so I guess the twitching wasn't a problem. She said the results would be sent to my doctor within the next two days and then I would hear. I'm on pins and needles. The headaches seem to be getting more persistent in the meantime, and I am noticing more symptoms, although I really can't know if they're related.

I am on Day 3 of doing Weight Watchers and it's going great. I've actually been surprised at how easy it's been. I told this to Bill last night and he said, "Just wait, it'll get harder." Nice. Thanks, Sweetie. (He was laughing when he said it.)

I don't know why I've been neglecting my movie blog so much lately. I guess it's because I haven't been spending much time on the computer with these headaches (staring at a bright screen doesn't help much) and I haven't been in the movie mode. Hopefully soon...

'Til then, I can at least promise a This Week In Hollywood soon.

I hope they figure out a way to treat the headaches. I've done weight watchers and I love it. It's the only way I am able to take off my baby weight. I like that weight watchers is just about substituting things in your diet and portion control. Any diet in which I can have chocolate is terrific for me. Good Luck!

Tell Bill to go suck an egg. :) You're doing great, and if you keep a positive additude, it will be that much easier.

I'm anxiously awaiting "This week in Hollywood!"

good luck with weight watchers, I am sure your doing great :)
I had a similar experience with the headaches and had an mri also, came back fine, but I finally figured out that it was wacky hormones. I hope you start to figure yours out, I think headaches are one of the worst things, just plain annoying, good luck!

I hate having to wait! It drives me insane! Hopefully everything will be fine, and you can rule out any major problems.

Good job on the Weight Watchers, it will be really fun watching you all lose weight while I steadily gain. Really, so much fun. You should make a bet with Bill, a little "Biggest Loser" kinda thing, then we will see who is laughing!

I'm glad to hear your MRI went okay today. Only 1/2 hour in that thing? I swore I had to lay still for over an hour when I got mine done. I'm sorry the headache is progressing, I HATE headaches! I didn't realize you're doing the WW, too. I only heard Amy talking about it last night. Are you guys going to the meetings and everything or just following the plan? I should do it with you. I really, really should. :-)

For about three months+ I had headaches every day, too. They've finally gone away. I don't know what has stopped them. Maybe its because I've decreased my time in front of the computer a LOT. Being in front of the computer also caused me to have to get glasses when I've never needed them. Silly addictive technology!
I hope things are okay. Keep up posted!

Good luck with everything, I am anxious to hear everything is alright, and have your headaches go away. :(
I've heard nothing but positive things about WW, and my mom lost a ton of weight that way. Good luck! I'll try to remember not to stop by with a huge plate of brownies or something in the near future. ;)

Good luck with the waiting, maybe a good day of scrapbooking would help.

Good luck on the WW (I had typed out the full name when I realized everyone else shortened it to WW so I didn't want to be an outcast so I did too)

and Andrea...I'll take a plate of brownies!

Dalisha,

Just know that I have so been thinking/worrying about you. I am so glad you finally went and got things checked out. Hope everything turns out fine.

Oh, and the whole WW thing...good for you. Maybe you should hang some more "motivational" pictures around the house. ;) I still laugh out loud everytime I think of that.
