Here are some of the treasures that have come from Payson lately:
Payson: Can I have some more Cocoa Puffs?
Me: More? Are you cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs?
Payson: No, I'm just hungry.
Payson, running to get the phone: Just a minute, people!
Me: You sure did a great job eating your dinner at Grandma's tonight.
Payson: Yeah, but I didn't eat the mushrooms because they were poison.
And I overheard this when Macy and Payson were playing their Transformer/Dolls hybrid game. It's a classic example of how they make it work:
Payson, in his deep Transformer voice: Megatron, I'm going to hit you and you'll be dead.
Macy, in her high-pitched doll voice: Optimus, when you're done killing him, would you like to have tea with me?
